1. Acceptance of Terms By accessing or making a purchase on hkblueoceanholidays.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.
2. About Us Mekong Travel & Restaurant, operated by Blue Ocean Holidays Limited, is a Hong Kong-registered travel company operating tour experiences, adventure packages, and cultural activities in Laos, and retailing handcrafted Lao souvenirs.
3. Bookings & Payments
- All tour bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of full or agreed deposit payment
- Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without prior notice
- We accept payments via the methods available at checkout
- A booking confirmation will be sent to your registered email address within 24 hours of payment
4. Tour Participation
- Customers are responsible for ensuring they meet any health, fitness, or age requirements specified for each tour
- Mekong Travel & Restaurant reserves the right to refuse participation if a customer is deemed unfit or poses a safety risk to themselves or others
- Customers must comply with the instructions of our guides at all times during tours
5. Cancellations & Refunds All cancellations and refunds are governed by our [Refund & Return Policy]. Please review it before booking.
6. Souvenirs & Physical Products
- Product descriptions and images are as accurate as possible; slight variations in handmade items are expected and not considered defects
- Ownership of goods transfers to the customer upon dispatch from our Laos branch
- Returns and refunds for physical products are governed by our [Refund & Return Policy]
7. Travel Insurance We strongly recommend that all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance prior to departure. Mekong Travel & Restaurant is not responsible for costs arising from medical emergencies, trip interruptions, or lost belongings.
8. Liability Mekong Travel & Restaurant (Blue Ocean Holidays Limited) shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of our services
- Third-party service failures including airlines, accommodation providers, or transport operators
- Events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)
9. Intellectual Property All website content, branding, itineraries, and materials are the exclusive property of Mekong Travel & Restaurant (Blue Ocean Holidays Limited). Unauthorised reproduction is prohibited.
10. Privacy Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Hong Kong privacy laws.
11. Amendments We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
